Trophy-Sized Deer: While most blacktail deer range from 80 to 120 pounds, Kodiak deer can reach trophy sizes.
Diverse Wildlife: Opportunity to hunt Sitka blacktail deer, sea ducks, and foxes (red, silver and cross). Guided sea duck hunting is also available, as weather and time permits.
Experience comfort aboard the MV Spirit, a 65-foot charter boat equipped with numerous amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip.

Three Staterooms: Each room houses two hunters with bunk beds and individual thermostats for personalized heating.
Dining and Leisure Area: A spacious area with tables, a flat screen TV, and plenty of room to relax.
Facilities: Two restrooms, a shower, a game locker, a fresh water-maker, and a drying room for wet gear.
Covered Deck: The Spirit has a large covered and lit deck to process game meat. -
Fly into Kodiak via Alaska Airlines by the Friday before your hunt. We recommend staying at the Best Western, conveniently located downtown.
Transportation: On Saturday morning, Island Air Service will fly your party directly to the MV Spirit on the southern end of Kodiak Island.
Hunting and Relaxation: Spend the week hunting and relaxing. The Spirit will transition between bays on the southern end of Kodiak Island, offering diverse hunting grounds and scenic views.
Departure: Wrap up hunting by Friday afternoon and prepare for your flight back to Kodiak city on Saturday morning. The hunting bag limit for Sitka black-tailed deer on Kodiak Island, Alaska, varies based on Alaska residency vs. non-residency. Outside of the Kodiak road system, the 2024 bag limit from October 1-December 31 are up to 3 deer total, for resident hunters, and 1 buck total for non-resident hunters.

Deposits and Payments: All hunting trips require a deposit and have scheduled subsequent payment due dates.
Non-Refundable Payments: Due to the extensive planning involved, deposits and payments made are non-refundable unless we are able to resell the hunt. If you must cancel your scheduled hunt, as much advance notice as possible is optimal to allow us the time necessary to resell the trip in order to provide you with a refund.
