The primary target is halibut, but occasionally other sport fish are caught as well. The crew is there to help identify what is legal to keep and good to eat!

Yes, you can keep the fish you catch within the legal limits set by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and International Pacific Halibut Commission. We provide halibut cleaning and filleting services.

Our trips are suitable for individuals 6 years old and up. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend that guests be in reasonable health and mobility to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Half-day halibut charter are $215-225 per person, plus taxes and fees. This includes all fishing gear, bait, and tackle, as well as halibut cleaning services. Gratuities for the crew are appreciated but not included in the price.

Yes, you are encouraged to bring any food and beverages you would like for the trip as we do not have any available for purchase onboard. Responsible alcohol consumption is acceptable; however, this is a family friendly trip and the captain and crew maintain the right to uphold this standard for the safety of all passengers.
Please avoid glass containers for safety reasons.

Seasickness can happen, especially if you are not used to being on the water. We recommend taking motion sickness medication before departure if this is a concern. Please consult your doctor for recommendations

The crew will fillet and bag your halibut by the time we return to the Homer Harbor. Homer Fish Processing will be at the dock upon arrival, if you chose to have your fish taken to be processed. They provide a variety of services, from vacuum packing and freezing to shipping your fish home for you, we recommend checking their website and contacting them for specifics about processing and shipping.
Processed and frozen fish can either be shipped home or taken as luggage on the plane. Both the crew and individuals at the fish processing facilities can provide further recommendations on this option.

The package includes an 8-day, 7-night vessel-based hunt, lodging on a 65’ boat, and a prepaid air charter to/from Kodiak City the hunting area. Meals and transportation from the boat to the beach are provided. Guides, gear and game processing are not included.

No, this is a self-guided hunt. The service provides transportation, food and lodging but does not offer guiding or assistance in harvesting and processing game meat.

Due to being a self-guided hunt, it is the hunters responsibility to understand the hunting regulations for the area. The hunting area that we call home is abundant in sitka blacktail deer, sea ducks, and various fox species. Alaska residents may choose to hunt for mountain goats.

The limit is 3 deer per Alaska-resident hunter from October 1 to December 31, outside the Kodiak road system. For out-of-state hunters, the limit is one deer per person. This limit is subject to change, based on updated state hunting regulations.
